Beth Richardson is a UK-trained dentist and specialist orthodontist and has practised exclusively in orthodontics since 2007. She has extensive experience treating both children and adults and is skilled in a wide range of orthodontic appliances, including clear aligners and fixed braces.
She qualified from Guy’s Hospital, University of London, in 1999, before gaining experience in oral surgery within a hospital setting and working in general dental practice. In 2001, Beth joined the British Army as a general dentist, working in the UK, Europe, and overseas. She was later selected by the Armed Forces to undertake specialist orthodontic training and completed her three-year orthodontic training at the University of Birmingham, alongside a master’s degree in philosophy researching the effects of orthodontic bracket removal on enamel tooth surfaces.
Beth’s treatment philosophy is centred on improving oral health, function, and overall wellbeing through high-quality, patient-centred orthodontic care. She is a Platinum Elite Invisalign provider and has treated thousands of patients using both clear aligners and fixed braces. Beth regularly attends national and international meetings to stay up to date with contemporary orthodontic techniques and developments.
This Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity fully complies with the CPD requirements of the General Dental Council. FMC certifies this activity for one hour of enhanced CPD in the subject of Take back control of your NHS contract.
This CPD meets the criteria for the GDC’s development outcome B.
